Subject: bio-control of pest insects in alfalfa

Fontanelle, IA
Specifically looking for “true integrated” resources/ publications on biocontrol management of caterpillars and leafhoppers and alfalfa weevils in alfalfa hay. Most university guides list the beneficial insects but discuss NOTHING about what you can use to knock the above-threshold pest populations back to where pest/predator balance equilabrates. Before I blast everything dead (blister beetles, fall armyworms, true armyworms, alfalfa caterpillars, Potato leafhoppers, and alfalfa weevils) with insecticide, I’m looking for quick reads ASAP on more “friendly” to beneficials/predators of my pests.Thank you for any leads!
