Northeast Missouri | Corn is almost to black layer and dying off rather quickly from lack of rain. The plan is to no till soybeans next spring. If I can control the weeds I’d like to plant non gmo beans, but weed control has been awful years past in full season beans. What cover crop mixture could I plant this fall that would improve my weed control next year in non gmo beans?
I have done cereal rye on its own, but am interested in expanding into multi species mixes. This mix could be aerially seeded into standing corn now, or drilled with an air seeder after corn harvest, but would much rather aerially seeded into standing corn due to time constraints. | |
