Subject: CRP rejuvenation?

South Central Illinois
Have a couple of patches of quail program CRP.
Numerous thorn trees in with everything else.
I have spot sprayed with brush killer.
Broadcast with Brush killer.
Broadcast with round up twice.
Pretty much everything is dead.
Two side-by-side tires are leaking because of the thorns.
Wondering what to do next?
Fire burn would be the simplest to just burn up those locust trees.
Has not rained in two months.
Not really wanting to set the neighborhood on fire.
Not really wanting thorns in big tractor tires.
So I don’t really want to bush hog it.
It needs reseeded next spring or summer sometime.
I suppose that I should just wait until rainy season comes and then try to fire burn.
