| Doesn't the federal government underwrite the losses for the insurance company, over a certain amount?
It looks to me like a cash cow for the insurance industry .
I am a few thousand short of collecting all I have paid in. The only reason I am that close is the first year I carried it was 2012.
My initial thought on just give me the subsidy money was it was a good idea. Then I realized that farmers would just bid it into the cost of land.
