What that means is you shouldn’t be farming. The insurance data isn’t that poor.

I am fine, get rid of government programs, get rid of crop and livestock insurance, charge the welfare ranchers in the west as supposed to be under Taylor.

Do you want to know who’s left to farm??? None of you are big enough nor have enough non farm income to stay on the land.

That's BS. I've never collected a dollar of crop insurance money. I take the bare minimum I have to to satisfy my banker. I've farmed for 35 years that way. Full time farmer too, no non farm income. Subsidized crop insurance is part of the reason we are overproducing grains causing low prices. Land that has to have insurance claims more than very occasionally shouldn't be farmed. Or you aren't a good farmer or you are taking advantage of the system. We'd be better off in the long run if the government would just quit all subsidies.
