I definitely don't agree with your banker synopsis.
Farm Credit sells ins if you call them a banker. Other than that it's a small % of banks that do.
And don't agree it was created for the bank. It was created to help the farmer.
Nowadays crop ins wdnt come close to paying your obligations if you had a crop failure.
The banks aren't stupid. They know where the real value is. It's in machinery and LAND.
And if you're highly leveraged that's what they require.
