Hooker Twp,Ne | Read about 1/3 of replies. Thing that I see left out is the (Banker). First of all most bankers are ins agents or they have a department that is. And I would place my bet on them that crop ins isn’t going anywhere. Next- most farmers need to borrow money. Guess what a banker normally requires? The current type of crop ins was for to keep ag banks solvent. Land and machinery prices are at mostly where they are because bankers keep saying YES. And with that each piece of land brings a bit more. So I don’t see crop ins going anywhere except maybe a bit more enticing in the future. And for the big ins thieves a GOOD adjuster should be able to sniff that out or is the large paid premium an incentive to keep quite.- ( Remember the gov subsidy amt) | |
