sw corner ia. | mine did this same thing. same code too. I screwed with it for a while but finally replaced the whole injection pump/governor assy. with a rebuild that the diesel shop had on the shelf. no more problem.
mine would surge at idle like a hot rod. in the field it would just die under load with no warning. might run a couple days. might not start at all. this is when I gave up and r&r'd the pump.
not a cheap fix, but it fixed it. pump doctor said a bearing in the pump crankshaft wore out enough to screw things up. | |
