Subject: John Deere 1910 ground drive cart

Hoisington, KS
Been having trouble with the individual meter clutches engaging consistently or engaging after a meter calibration. JD service manager recommended taking them out and cleaning the inside of each clutch assembly. Did that over the weekend and only thing inside is a big spring that looked fine, not much dirt or corrosion and put back together. Today tried running a calibration and meter still wouldn't turn until I turn it back and forth by hand or tap it a few times with a hammer. The electrical 7 pin connector is working fine, the solenoids are activating like they should when you choose which meter you want to calibrate. Just doesn't make any sense. Drill and cart is a 2011 and clutches have always worked fine once you get it locked in and get going, but sure is a PITA when it acts up.
