I agree 100% East nd. Doesn't take 48 hours.
I've seen corn leaves turning white by noon. And the thermometer doesn't have to say 32. It can happen at 36-38 also.
Then at harvest the farmers say the beans are the size of BBs and the corn has low test weight and won't dry down.
