"rally" posted this in another discussion: Grain Belt Express isn’t a done deal… we are in the Illinois Supreme Court. Briefs were filed 9/3/25 by Illinois landowners and Illinois Farm Bureau. Constitutional arguments are not allowing due process to impacted landowners and special legislation that passed that gave GBE the right of eminent domain without that process. #2 is questioning if Invenergy has financial backing and customers that have agreed to take power . Past administration thought the DOE and taxpayers would buy the power.
