It can frost the leaves off the corn but it can still somewhat finish filling from the stalk. Beans just stop filling.
Not that I’ve seen. You frost off the top couple leaves and the corn plants will sit there for a month not maturing at all until a harder frost comes and finishes them off. Then the grain doesn’t dry until March.
