Subject: RE: Better odds than farming these days.

Ross County, Ohio

I figured it up a while back and we are taxed at least 45%, if you consider fed, state, real estate, Local tax( School, city if you work off the farm or live in a town or city), license plates. It's likely the higher side of 50% now. I figure it up 15 years ago. My county sales tax is 7.25% on everything, but food and farm purchases. The real estate tax really pisses me off. Taxing me on a home and land I already bought and paid for and was taxes on when I bought it. Don't pay it and they can take possession of it. I even consider my vehicle insurance a tax since it's required by law. Have an accident without and you can and will face a big fine.
