sc kansas | been thru eminent domain proceedings 3 times, don't settle for the first time pitance they offer. in our case the damn power company s wanted and got the right of ingress and regress on all adjoining and adjacent acres owne by the land owner. so even ground across the road owned by the same owner was tied up under their ingress and regress easement even tho there wasn't a power line on it. ond in our case sc ks the local judge awarded the land owners $300 a acre for this restriction the power company got. the power company was requested to give up this easement and they refused to give up the verbage in the contract. funny thing is the written easement map didn't presented to us for the 150 ft easement didn't represent what was actually in the contract and the judge reprimanded one power company and made them start all over on the easement not proccess even tho the line was already built, it was a real screwed up deal. | |
