Bird food in general, and black oil sunflower seeds vary in price from seller to seller all the time. As a rule, Fleet Farm seems to have the best price on a consistent basis. I feed 750-1000 pounds of black oil sunflower seeds every year.

Apologies for off topic but we really like to feed sunflowers to the birds. The dang coons though destroy the feeders in the evening and at night. Do you take up your feeder every evening to avoid that? Another solution? We started getting the coons even in the daytime so just had to quit but would like to go back.
