Southeast Colorado | I'm actually not sure on an 87 model. I was a Chevy mechanic in the mid 80s.........but left in 86. Through that period, the headliner and carpet was the only thing that secluded the Silverado apart from the Custom Deluxe or Scottsdale. I saw a few of the Custom Deluxe sold without A/C. But I can't even recall the middle of the road Scottsdale not having A/C. They were listed as upgraded options on the door stickers though............even on the Silverados.
