I get all my appliances from the local Maytag Dealership. Some are Maytag, some are Whirlpool.     Are they perfect?  No.   But,  I can get someone out to work on them and offer real advice to make them last longer.    Having said this...  I got most of mine 10 years ago.   I've replaced:  the dishwasher and microwave.   Dishwasher was my fault for failure to "clean my dishwasher".    Other perks:   They deliver,  install and haul away the old ones.    Since I have a tenant house to maintain they are nice to have.   My husband doesn't want to deal with big appliances any more.     The dealer has the tools to deal with moving appliances.
