Wisconsin | Dishonest people are not all stupid, it doesn't take much to figure out what kind of mail to steal if you're after checks or gift cards. Gift cars would be given away by the stiff plastic, wouldn't be surprised at all if the system kicks them out at certain places and the thief wouldn't have to even choose which ones to steal.
The post office cares a little about catching internal thieves, very little about preventing them. And they care even less about damaged packages getting to you, because they can sell those for more. | |
