Stuff can happen so lightning quick. Was cutting down a 12" partially dead tree yesterday with a chain saw. Thought I had done everything right and have been running saws for over 50 years. Tree barber chaired up 10 ft high (which I should have anticipated and prevented). Luckily I stepped away a step and in the blink of an eye the tree landed right where I was standing from about 10 feet up. Had I not moved three feet I would have been pile drived right there because it landed exactly where I stood cutting. I either would not have survived or been in a wheel chair like happened to a neighbor long ago involved in a farm accident.

Sorry for the rant. Didn't mean to take away from your situation. My only reason for stating it is that life can throw changes at us in the blink of an eye. Good or bad changes. Prayers for both your baby and your family. Don't let your family get in the self blame mindset. That will not be helpful in any way.
