The "do not call" list. Yeah, I think they sold the numbers to the scammers and telemarketers. That was long enough ago that it applied to landlines only for a while I think.
I'm still waiting for the Texas Rangers to come get me for not paying a fine in a state I've never visited.
But my favorite was the time I looked and it was my number calling me...
