NE SD | I switched Wells Fargo active cash after Capital one decided to lower my credit limit from 15,400 to 5,000 to “better suit your spending”. Never missed a payment, credit score waaaaaay above 800…..or it was until my percent of credit used got bloated because of the drop in limit. Like 40 point drop.
Could appeal in writing after 6 months…didn’t get it back. Tried again in another 6 months, no go again. Finally bought something to use up my rewards, changed all my auto pays to WF, changed PayPal and Amazon to it, and threw my C1 card in my safe to sit and rot. Had it for 20+ years.
