Apparently prostate biopsy has changed a lot. I use Cleveland clinic also. Two clean biopsies so far. The only discomfort was right at the snap of pulling each sample. Check out the tool and samples afterward. Wasn't bad at all..


I had biopsy this winter ,other than initial robot insertion their was no pain or discomfort... Nurse new right where to put freezing/numbing agent.

Dr. said it must not have hurt as you (I) talked the whole 3 minutes to him..Nurse says can/will have blood in urine,semen,bowel...Me ,2 drops of blood on first urination...A lot of differences in Drs. abilities

6 on Gleason scale so just monitoring it for now

Dr. Goel says a lot has been learned and changed past few yrs. I told him he came highly recommended by a friend who had cancerous prostate remove a few yrs. ago..Very painful for him. Dr. asks"Is he still alive" ,Me, yes...and we laughed
