Altoona, WI | Around here, ICE agents will pull up to a dairy farm if they are looking for one in particular. They stay in their black suburban and honk the horn until the owner walks up to see what it is all about. The agent(s) will then tell the owner that they need to apprehend so and so, the guy will go get him, and the agents will apprehend him. They purposely do not go around looking for the suspect so they won't see any of the others.
So, knowing this, ask yourself what the reason for this is. Do you really think that all cops and ICE agents around this country are just too lazy to round illegals up? I don't think so. Our government knows (despite what any politician claims on TV because they will tell you jokers exactly what you want to hear to get you to put your "X" next to their name in that voting booth) that rounding them all up and sending them back to Mexico WILL result in a huge disruption to our economy and a failure of Social Security. 99% of them are here to work, will do the jobs we won't do anymore, and just want to exist. Yes, we pay for their services. Yes, they overwhelm services in SOME areas, yes, some are criminals same as all other races of people, but like it or not, they play a key role in keeping costs down in this country. And almost ALL of them really truly do not want to be here illegally and would gladly go through the process to become legal citizens if the process was revised so they could. Right now, it is nearly impossible for them to become legal and takes a lifetime to do. You all claim that you would not have a problem with them being here if they would immigrate legally, well, lean on your politicians to make it so they can! But you know what? It will never happen for the very reason I explained above. Social Security. The dirty little secret that nobody ever talks about is that illegals are the ones keeping Social Security afloat since they pay in and never receive. | |
