| When I found out I had cancer my response was to get going on getting rid of it,,,I didn't want to waste time on a second opinion.But it seemed like it took a month to get an MRI for a guided biopsy,another month to get the biopsy,then a consult with an oncologist,who wanted a pet scan with a special dye to see if it had spread.
I had labs for kidney problems done in March that had the PSA test thrown in,,,,I didn't get done with radiation until Christmas,,,it would have been interesting to see what another doctor said,,,,but not sure what I would have done if they gave different alternatives | |
