NW Iowa. / SW Arizona
We got our first 28” Blackstone grill free in the fall of 2023 as part of Beck’s seed promotion. We took it down to our AZ home in the box. I absolutely loved it so much down there we bought another one when we came home to our IA home in the Spring of 2024. I haven’t used the gas grills we have at both locations since.

They work great for cooking smash buggers, regular hamburgers, steaks, bacon, hot dogs, brats, all kinds of vegetables. We have friends that use theirs for pancakes but I haven’t tried that as I don’t eat them.

We buy the 3 lb. Black label bacon packages from Sam’s Club and I cook it all at once which my wife loves as it keeps the bacon smell and mess outside. I’ll cook the bacon to almost the way we like it then will put the bacon in a Tupperware container and put in the refrigerator until we’re ready to eat it the finish cooking it in the microwave or fry pan which doesn’t take long. We both like our bacon crispy.

I have no idea if other brands of flat grills are equal to Blackstone or not so can’t comment on them.
