I find this very hard to believe. Unless the panels had internet access, how could it occur? You would need Wi-Fi access at the installation site, which would require YOUR password. How are they going to get it? It would not be practical to do this financially, to install wi-fi in every panel. Unless they did it via satellite, say Starlink, and they had a master password embedded in each panel. Just doesn't seem practical to me.
