My wife wondered why I built the chicken housing so heavy last year. Told her it should stand a 60+ MPH wind as we do get those around here. Well they were all fine this morning, except a bit wet in a couple. Had put a couple pieces of plywood over the screen top half on the prototype chicken tractor (more like a tank) and those blew off so needless to say the cock that got wet last night wasn't mine. Other mobile coop has screen ends, next ones probably won't have full screen on them.

Have a large branch across the road to get to the rear part of our farm place, and half a tree laying in the yard. Last night the wind was from the east, usually here the strong winds are from the west/northwest so the grove takes the brunt of it.
