Check if an updated heater valve is available. We fixed our 435 by replacing ours. I beg to differ though on the ease. Either the seat gets tipped against the steering wheel or removed. I would recommend replacing the clamps with hose clamps. We fought leaks for the first season. It would leak out the ac drain. It still seems to leak a bit internally.


Slide the seat all the way forward on the track and then tip the whole unit backwards and prop it up and you can get right to it. I’ve done dozens like this. I’ve noticed the top horizontal hose can be a touch short so I keep a piece of 3 inch heater hose with me when I change them to install
