SESD | The two wires on the bottom of the injection pump are for a cold start timing solenoid. Not necessary for running, I was told in time it could damage the pump but ours have been broken off for years.
Have you tried running 12v battery to the shut off solenoid? Or check for voltage at the shutoff while cranking? sound like maybe you have alot of voltage drop in the system but when you let of the starter/cranking the solenoid can pop open of there's enough PRM and it fires up | |
