I agree with you Kooiker, very quick and easy to change the Nichols, no oil needed. I just don’t like how they didn’t get the angle just right to run flat to the ground. To put them on, I used to get behind the the shank, one arm on each side, then I’d just pull the sweep on in one quick motion using both hands, 90% of the time it would snap right into place no hammer needed. Now with the stupid CNH system, no amount of prep or oiling would have helped on some of them, the bracket was just a little too wide or the sweep part too narrow, could beat on it till the point of the sweep was ruined, it wasn’t going on all the way till I modified it with the grinder!
