| Dennis SEND - 5/12/2025 10:48 SS bolts and hardware will usually not gaul together if you DON'T use an impact when putting it together, now I'm as guilty as anyone and like to grab the cordless Milwaukee impact to do things quickly but when working with stainless fastener hand tools are your best friend
I’d change that to “will usually not gall together if you don’t use an impact AND use anti seize or some sort of oil thread lubricant”. Key word, “usually”.
I’ve had plenty of stainless bolts/nuts gall together if put together dry, even with hand tools.
