I have no tilled all of my beans into cornstalks for over 30 years and understand you concern. I do not know your location or your previous crop, but in my experience in cornstalks you need at least three
weeks to know what kind of stand you have. I have totally replanted and also patched in and 80% of the time I should have walked away and done nothing, but that is difficult to do. Also my beans are all planted at a 6 degree angle to the old corn rows. Your situation may be different from mine.
