| Oh you just gotta love a good stand of hairy vetch! Hope you didn’t trip and fall as you were walking out to get the pics. I’m a small organic farmer and I like growing it for N production. I’ve been told that it can give you 150 units if it’s tilled in mid-bloom and 75 if simply left on top. It’d be interesting to know how long your residue stays in place. Vetch is a fairly succulent crop so it’ll decompose relatively quickly, giving the corn it’s N as it does so. | |
