I'm sorry but "SARE" is not unbiased, its funded by the govt to promote climate agenda.

The "unbiased data" is that the industry went away from outdoor production 30-40 years ago and isn't going back outside other than some small niche production that gets paid a premium.

If you want to farrow 50 sows outside and finish 1000 head/year I don't care but don't expect the industry to move that way without being forced to.   The acres needed and the cost of the land alone makes it cost prohibitive.   That's without even mentioning the production disadvantages.
