Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | I’ve sold few older cows. only kept enough heifers to replace them. Need to get rid few more. Since I quite grain farming I have a lot more hay and pasture. But Im waiting for prices to slip a little before I keep a bunch of heifers. I only have 40 cows but could easily handle twice that many with the amount of grass I have now. Our neighbors had retired and I don’t see anyone else expanding to make up the difference. Not big cattle country here though |
