We feed corn silage. The biggest thing is to formulate a balanced ration and adjust from there. If you have cows that are heavy milkers the more protein you put in her diet the more milk she is going to produce. Like the other poster said watch the cows poo. Also watch the calves poo also. That can be a sign that their diet is too rich.
