| I've budgeted $10K per year to build up facilities (fencing, corral pens, etc) over the last 4 years. I've put in alot of continuous fence, concrete, and hi-tensile around fields so I can graze stalks or rye. This year we are taking another portion of the field and turning it into a summer annual cattle pasture as cattle pencil better than row crops.
Finally fun to have the neigh sayers who have told me to sell my cows watch and hear cattle prices while we were building up inventory while they were lower. Not a cow on the farm over 5 years old. | |
