thanks for the chart it clearly shows that you are incorrect in saying US was in a recession.
On your chart the grey shaded areas indicate start and end of the recession, the recession ended clearly in 2009 as I have stated, and you have been arguing against.
unemployment is not a major factor of when a recession starts or stops the rising or falling of the unemployment rate will play a minor factor in the recession.
