Curious if the scraper is an actual Indian artifact?

My grandfather and my uncle used to Knapp flint as a hobby years ago much like people would whittle on wood.

I can remember as a child in the ‘60’s sitting in front of the corn cobb stove in the old dimly lit shop on a cold winter day watching them with their thick leather hide on their leg working flint with a piece of deer antler. Their farm was in west central Indiana where the Wabash river once flowed and their fields were littered with Indian artifacts. They copied several different styles they would find and it was impossible to tell the real from what they made. When grampa died and we cleaned out the shop, there were drawers and cabinets full of artifacts they found in the fields.

They would even break the thick bottom out of an old brown beer bottle by shaking a bolt in it and Knapp pieces of jewelry for the girls in the family.
