E.Central MN | A few years ago local scrap yard said he doesn't want crushed aluminum cans because people were filling them with various things like lead weights or scrap aluminum from electrical components and then crushing them. I've got a p/u load of crushed cans, but I'm not taking them anywhere until I find out if they will take them. Internet articles pop up on a regular basis about how many $$$ the U.S. economy is losing because they aren't taking them to the states that still have a 5ct deposit on cans.(internet idiots) | |
