There was probably 100 cameras taking pictures of you in the terminal before you ever got to the TSA checkpoint.If it's going to keep someone from hijacking the plane & flying into a skyscraper, I'd encourage the photo. You also can't wear your sidearm. If you can't or don't want to comply, there is one other option for you.
