New London, Wisconsin | I personally would go with Honda or Yamaha. I have a 25 Honda now and with a 14 foot lighter fishing boat, it really goes. My son is the family expert and he leaned toward Yamaha. He had a 30 hp Merc I bought him years ago when he graduated from College. If you want a new one, go see the folks in Shawano, at American Marine. But, I wouldn't buy used there without a try out. There are also a few on FB marketplace near both of us.
