West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
For reliability you want a four stroke Yamaha.
I have a 150 on a boat in FL and 70 on a pontoon in MN. Both are later model four stroke.
There is a reason that the vast majority of saltwater rental boats are running Yamaha.
