Subject: RE: Tank on skid tie downs

Dozens of legal, useable options. One time haul, yearly, changed often?
Picture makes me think strait truck flatbed? That SMALL block in corner makes me hope that tank is NEVER filled. I would have more support for an empty tank than I see.
Weight, if baffled, conditions matter. Hauling it home? If total weight 2 ton I guess 3 of those straps might be fine. I would like 4 screw type load binders. Welding D rings, hook 8 links grade 70 or better chain, dozen other options. But loaded? That small block in corner MUST go.
I would bolt on 2x6 *maybe 8” wide* to contact trailer. If removal needed either leave +6” wide forklift spaces. Or lift from end, put two spacers to give room.
That small block distracts me a lot.
