Western-Central Lower Michigan | To be sure, I would like your email please. Thanks for the explanation, I guess to have a 4wd tractor that you can only drive 9 mph is pretty stupid, but the option is to sell it... Im surprised that such a little bend in the shaft would be such a pain.
You know that last year we had another 4wd tractor that had U joint failure and it did a lot of damage. It was an older CIH and just getting parts is a job in itself.
The guys checked on the rear U joints on this T9030 and they were bad also, I even posted on here about the expensive issues this type of failure causes and that its very inconvenient and unsafe to be broke down on the road and in most cases unable to move because of hydraulic (steering-brakes) being inop.
OH, what causes the "alarm" in the transmission? (remember, Ive watched the transmission pressure on the corner post, and it seems like when the speed reached over 9 mph, the pressure goes to 4 snowflakes and the transmission goes in neutral.
AND, is it "harmful" to keep using the tractor with the transmission in this state? We have a lot of acres that we can drive to at that low road speed.
