Subject: RE: Little Sandblasting

Center Valley Wisconsin
I've only had a couple of accidents sandblasting over the years. Normally when it was cold out I'd wear one pair of gloves with hand warmers,,, usually two pairs of gloves on each hand with hand warmers like in December January.
Heavier insulated cloth gloves of some sort were warm so that's what I used when blasting say a dump truck,,, something that I just be standing there blasting and my hands would never get in front of the nozzle. In the pictures I had gotten done blasting a truck and there was two parts that were smaller I had laying on the blast table and I should have took the time to put on rubber gloves even though it was cold out. It probably took less than a half a second when I accidentally moved the nozzle over the glove to blow a hole through the glove in my finger. I took the globe off and I could see the top of my knuckle bone so I went and got it checked out at the hospital they x-rated it and dug all the sand out and stitched it.
