Southern Illinois | We have a gates machine, and honestly i feel it's worth the investment. Yes there's a lot of money sitting there but when you need it you need it. We just bought a used machine and done like you said made a list of what we "thought" we needed. And we've just slowly expanded our selection. Every year we put $ amount towards something new to expand our selection. As far as brand there's a lot of good companies out there. My suggestion is buy whatever you have close to you as far as fittings in town. Because you may need an fitting that you don't have. I've ran into that a few times, but I try not to buy in town because it's so much cheaper online. There's also different quality of hoses per manufacturer so buy whatever works best for you. We have a lot of local guys with weather head machines but they used very cheap hose and the sun just ate it up. So we went to a more uv resistant hose and so far it's been excellent. Good luck | |
