E. C. IA | My experience sandblasting was with a gas engine powered 85 cfm compressor. I thought it did a great job for my personal projects, so I would argue that over 100 cfm isn't mandatory. However, if you are trying to make a living doing it, I reckon more cfm would be important for productivity. Totally depends on the scale of your work.
It seems like I spent more time trying to contain and reuse the sand than I spent actually blasting. A non-laborious sand recycling system would be more important to me, than getting a more powerful compressor system. | |
