traced down wire 29 from start button to bulk head on firewall was good, from firewall bulk head down thru wiring harness there must of been bad spot as no voltage would travel. so clipped the start relay wire, #29 wire by bulk head and ran new wire from it to straight to starter solenoid on firewall. then had to make a new ground wire from other small terminal on start relay and grounded it to the relay mounting bolt as all is good. also this truck on the starter there is a thermo switch to protect from over heating if crank on it too long. bypassed the therm switch to make sure it wasn't my issue and made no difference so assumed it is good but is now bypassed also.

Great to hear the results! That was a new one on me. So, was it wire 29 with the break or the ground wire to the solenoid?
