I agree.
Only possibility is if there’s another lead that’s attached to the back of the stud with the blue wire showing. That would be a way to use the same winding and terminal board but make the motor non-reversible like some manufacturer specified.
I’ve cut into the lacing and lifted out the splices on a generator stator but that’s a bit much for this little motor.
